Uttaran Education Trust with our limited resources accepted the challenge the country is facing today and took the oath for inclusive social development under different livelihood sectors to develop the socio-economic conditions of rural youth through the skill development route. We are already successful in collaboration with State and Central Govt. in implementing several projects in rural areas and confident to train and develop candidates of many difficult areas of the country.

There are many initiatives/ projects of State and Central Govt. On air with quality assured learning and focusing outcome. The main focus is on short, relevant and effective courses which is helping immensely the individuals of different category of different areas to get certificates as a proxy to a fast-track job. Skill development initiative needs considerable amount of expansion of capacity and innovative delivery approaches and Public Private Partnership.

Introduction of Utkarsh Bangla (PBSSD):

Government of West Bengal is committed towards large scale skill development for its youth population to improve the scope of gainful employment and entrepreneurial opportunities under the WBSDM (West Bengal Skill Development Mission) chaired by the Hon’ble chief minister of West Bengal. 
To ensure that the above commitment is met successfully the Department Of Technical Education, Training & Skill Development; Government of West Bengal has launched the “UTKARSH BANGLA”, a flagship scheme on 16th February 2016 under the aegis of the PBSSD (Paschim Banga Society for Skill Development) for placement linked short-term skill trainings across the state of West Bengal.
