Recognized by NCTE & Affiliated to the University of Burdwan, now added affiliation under West Bengal University of Teachers’ Training, Education Planning and Administration (WBUTTEPA)
Two years B.Ed Courses are offered at present with eleven method subjects have been offered. These are (1) Bengali, (2) English, (3) Geography, (4) Mathematics (5) Physical Science, (6) History (7) Philosophy (8) Life Science (9) Political Science (10) Hindi and (11) Sanskrit.

Uttaran College of Education (D.Ed College) since 2015, offers two years Full Time Diploma in Elementary Education Course. There are sufficient scopes for practice teaching acquisition of basic concept of education, child psychology, evaluation on teaching and learning process. In simple words, this course is adequately structured.
